Ok, well, I guess i've been around long enough to actually need one of these, so here goes!

THE OFFICAL GUIDE OF EVERYTHING PI-E

Q: Who are you?
A: I'm Pi-e! But I guess if you wanted a more specific, in depth answer I would have to say that i'm 19, a college student struggling to survive, enamored with art and music, and disillusioned by thoughts of future grandeur. I also like zombies and werewolves :F.

Q: When did you start drawing?
A: Ever since I could pick up a pencil or crayon or probably even some shit i fished out of my diaper. Gross, but unfortunately that's a true story (and it haunts me to this day at various dinner parties). I started getting into the habit of drawing in sixth grade, but back then I wa primarily an anthro artist. Anime was an affliction that happened in seventh/eigth grade and i've been ill with it ever since.

Q: Why do you only draw anime?
A: Oh God, if only there was a good reason. Well, I may not have a good reason, but I do have a practical one. I suck at realism. Anime is so much easier to do than drawing "traditionally" or "realistically" because you can play with proportions/colors/ideas and it's still in the realm of safety. It's all style and no real physical truths. Also, like drawing, it's become a bad habit of mine. I simply don't know any other way to draw u__u;;

Q: When you're drawing, what's your medium of choice?
A: Digital! I would absolutely die without my tablet; he is my one true love (yes, he's a he and his name is Lark). I draw in sketchbooks a lot and on loose paper, but I feel most comfortable drawing via tablet because, again, realm of safety. If I fuck up i've got my magical undo keys. I've also got access to nifty layers, smooth lines and zoom functions.

Q: What programme do you use to color with?
A: I am a rabid fan of OC3.0+. I find Photoshop and Corel to be too large and cumbersome of programmes, and OC has everything I really need. But if you like to use lots of custom brushes and filters and shit I say opt for one of the larger programs; they have a lot more options than modest little OC.


Q: Will you draw me a picture?
A: Not unless you're paying me. I'm sorry, I get asked this a lot but the answer is going to always have to be "no." Art is something I enjoy so I wanna spend time drawing what I want to, not what you want to. And between commissions, gift-art, trades and my own personal things, I really don't have time to be drawing free requests.


Q: Will you accept an art trade with me?
A: Aaaah, I have to say no! First and foremost I have to finish what's already on my plate, so no, I can't accept anymore trades for the time being.

Q: Can I draw you giftart?
A: Yes, of course! I don't know why anyone would ever say no to this. I love seeing my characters drawn, and I love receiving gifts (it's like an early xmas). Just please, don't defile my characters in any weird ways. I won't get mad at you for inflating Aja or Isru, but I can't guarantee that I'll be thrilled about receiving it either.

Q: Why aren't you ever on AIM?
A: Uhm, well...To tell you the truth I just got tired of the endless flashing windows. I ued to have 15 IM windows open at once and it got too hard to manage so I just kind of took a vow of AIM celibacy.

Q: Why are you so slow at drawing my picture?
A: Life happens. First and foremost I have to worry about moi, s please understand that if i've promised you giftart, owe you a trade or am working on a commission...sometimes life may lead to artistic congestion.

Q: What the hell happened to the PiPoint system?
A: Haha, oh man, I totally plan on revitalizing that someday. The thing is I accidentally lost the original PiPoints that people had recieved and i've been too lazy to look back and record them all again.

Q: Can I still Join Black Cats or Ravens?
A: Yes, of course, it's always open for new submissions! In fact I plan to do something with that very soon--I just have to finish a few promo pics for it. If you're interested go ahead and read up on it here: [link]

Q: Why do you draw so many ecchi/hentai things?
A: Because i'm a huge pervert. I like drawing forms a lot, and a naked (or nearly naked) body is perfect for that. Also I think boobs and butts are really fun to draw.

Q: You draw so many girls--does that make you a lesbian?
A: No, it just means I like drawing girls. You never ask the Marvel illustrators if they're gay just cuz they draw huge hulking men in tights, do you?

Q: Why do you have such sexually provocative polls?
A: Because they're fun, aren't they? Besides, I kind of feel like Alfred Kinsey by surveying all you guys. It's really amazing how diverse or how similar people's sexual ideas can be. Also, it's kind of a great icebreaker for you guys, my viewers, to get to know one another. I've noticed a lot of activity lately in the comments, and i'd like you all to keep it up! Getting to know one another helps build friendships :3

Q: Who's Lin?
A: Lin is the most wonderfullest bestest friend of mine in the whole world. I couldn't function properly without her around. She's my twin soul and together we burn down cities and eat taco bell.

Q: Are you and Lin lovers?
A: Haha, though it may seem like Lin and I are dating or making the sex or whatever you think, we're very platonic. We love eachother, but it's not that kind of love. If she had a penis, however, I would totally bone her raw. God, she's got a great rack. Too bad I don't have a penis :[
